OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – July 7, 2008 – Validity Screening Solutions hosted a client appreciation event Friday, June 20, 2008 at Kauffman Stadium. The events of the evening included a barbeque, the Royals baseball game and a food drive. In attendance were over 250 guests, including Validity’s VIP guests from the Ronald McDonald House. Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City serves families whose children are receiving care for a serious illness or injury at a Kansas City area hospital or treatment facility.
The food drive benefited the Harvesters Community Food Network of Kansas City. Over 200 non-perishable food items were donated by Validity clients and employees. Harvesters, Kansas City’s only food bank, provides food and related household products to more than 550 not-for-profit agencies including emergency food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes, homes for the mentally disabled and shelters for battered persons.
