About Validity Screening Solutions Validity Screening Solutions is a leading national provider of background checks and drug testing. Founded in 1982 as a division of Clarence M. Kelley and Associates, the organization was a pioneer in the business before it was a recognized industry. Darren Dupriest acquired the company in 2004 in order to focus solely on background checks. In addition to being a founding member of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS), the company can be credited with many industry firsts, from providing 24-hour online access to reports, to offering a service promise, to the establishment of a client orientation/education program. In June of 2006, the company changed its name to Validity Screening Solutions.
